XIUI 1.7.0 — Hotbars & Crossbars

v1.7.0

The headline of 1.7.0 is a brand-new hotbar and crossbar system: per-job palettes, pet palettes, keybind management, cooldown overlays, item counts, and skillchain indicators — built to import cleanly from tHotbar / tCrossbar so the migration is one click. The pet bar gets a round of presentation polish, and the BST Familiar timer learns to count overtime.

A heads-up from the maintainers: a lot of bugs and feedback are expected as this reaches a wider audience. Thanks for your patience over the next week or so while we work through changes and fixes.

Hotbar & Crossbar

New modules for managing abilities, spells, and items with customizable layouts.

  • Import from tHotbar / tCrossbar — bring existing macros across in one step.
  • Per-job palettes with automatic switching on job change.
  • Pet palettes that swap with pets and summons.
  • Custom icons and labels for any slot.
  • Keybind manager for every bar and slot.
  • Cooldown / recast timers with visual overlays.
  • Item count display for consumables, including NIN tools.
  • Alternate recast tracking for custom macros.
  • Skillchain indicators.

Pet Bar Enhancements

  • Always Visible option to keep the pet bar shown without a pet out.
  • Text size options for HP and Distance on the pet’s target bar.
  • Progress style options for ability recasts (Full Display Style).
  • Separate Sic / Ready recast options for Charmed vs Jug pets.

BST Familiar Timer

  • Familiar now extends the timer by 25 minutes when cast.
  • The timer can go negative to display overtime duration.

Bug Fixes

  • Gil Tracker showed incorrect gain/loss when switching characters.
  • First load reported the character’s existing gil as “gained” gil.
  • The EXP bar was cut off when x scale width was too long.
  • The EXP bar couldn’t be dragged past screen width.
  • Bars didn’t update properly when level synced or weakened.
  • Pet bar nil-check crash.
  • Distance anchor positioning in the party list.
